Sekolah Papua Harapan welcomes applicants from Papua, Indonesia, and overseas. Local/national staff members receive a salary while overseas staff are requested to come as volunteers, fundraising for their personal costs and salaries.
Papua Harapan seeks, above all, staff members who have a heart for discipleship of Papuan children and a commitment to the Papua Harapan vision and mission. Review initial application steps below and contact staffneeds@papuaharapan.org to express interest and voice questions.
As noted above, overseas staff members are requested to come as volunteers, fundraising for living costs, travel, work visas, and health care. Requiring overseas staff to cover all of their own costs enables Papua Harapan to remain financially sustainable.
For intended commitments up to one year, please see the volunteer section. For longer commitments (one year and beyond), you will need to apply to a sponsoring organization after initial approval by the Papua Harapan school.

Part I : Initial Approval
Part II : Sponsoring Organization
At the time of your successful application to Papua Harapan, we will work with you to determine a sponsoring or sending organization appropriate for you. Generally, this is an established mission, non-profit or church organization with a complementary vision to send international workers overseas for professional ministry.
If you are already involved with a sponsoring organization/mission, let us know that in your initial application.
